A Major, Spiritual Step to Understanding the Complete Bible: The Walk - (Read it)
Q: Is reading the bible suppose to be hard?
A: Reading the Bible, as described in the book, "The Walk", is easier if you ask the Holy Spirit in you to explain the message read. After all, He's the counselor, teacher, etc. The Bible is the bread of life and feeds each and every one of God's creation. (Whether they appear to you as: good, bad or indifferent, God maintains them until the end.) Those under the law will read it one way and those under grace will read another way. It is the same to those of the first century as it is to those in the 21 century. To some it is a history lesson. To others it is the voice of God speaking directly to you. Usually the new reader sees it in the physical sense. The next step is usually seen in the mental sense. Then, when one is "born again" you see it in the spiritual sense. Believe it or not the bread even feeds Satan. Chew on that for a while.
Q: Why Tongues?
A: There are different times for the use of and prayer in tongues.
John 4:23 - But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such as these to worship him. John 4:24 - God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in “spirit” and “truth."
Worshiping and praying in tongues is Spiritual.
Worshiping and praying in the “Spirit” is in tongues. Worshiping and praying in the “Truth” is in Jesus’name.
John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the “truth", and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
I Cor. 14:2 - For those who speak in a tongue do not speak to other people but to God; for nobody understands them, since they are speaking mysteries in the Spirit.
I Cor. 14:14 –‘For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays but my mind is unproductive.
Speaking in tongues is a prophetic prayer, when speaking to people that are or have an interpreter, of the gift.
Q: How do you pray?
A: There are many ways to pray, the most important of which is to pray: "To the Father", in Jesus' name. I use to always pray to Jesus,
but Jesus says "no," pray to the Father in My (Jesus') name.
John 14:10 - Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but
the Father that dwelleth in me, "he doeth the works." 13 - And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 - If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
Q: What is a proper prayer for communion?
A: Prayer Before Communion
Gracious Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending your son, Jesus Christ, to redeem mankind. I thank you that through Jesus’ suffering, He purchased a three-fold redemption for my spirit, mind and body. Today I bless this bread, the body of Jesus Christ. I bless the fruit of the vine, the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
Father, as you have forgiven me, so I forgive those that have sinned against me. Lord I forgive and release anyone that has wronged me and I ask you to search my spirit and remove any trace of sin or disobedience from my life. Today, I release from my mental prison anyone who has hurt me in any way and I ask you to bless them. Father, as I receive this communion, I ask you to bring strength and health to me spiritually, emotionally and physically, because of the New Covenant that was sealed through the suffering of Jesus Christ. Father, Jesus carried my infirmities; therefore, I ask you to lift from me what Jesus has carried for me.
As I eat this flesh of Jesus and drink His blood, I receive healing in every organ, cell and function of my body, spirit and mind. By His stripes I am healed.
I do this in remembrance of Jesus and what He did and does for me. I receive it by faith and I give you all glory and honor, in the name of Jesus Christ!
AMEN
Follow with a prayer in that we pray in the Truth (In Jesus name I pray) and Spirit (The Holy Spirit praying in and for us, as Tongues).
I pray all this knowing that thy will be done comes first in all my prayers.
Q: Why do we suffer so much when we are suppose to be at peace?
A: In the first place Jesus promised us peace, in that another name for peace is the Holy Spirit or Comforter.
Peace has another meaning.
Matt. 10: 34 - "Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
35 - For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
36 - and one's foes will be members of one's own household.
John 14:16 - And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, to be with you forever.
17 - This is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, because he abides with you, and he will be in you.
He teaches us peace and leads us into the promise land.
Jesus told us that he brings division between family members, etc.
John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.
John 20:21 - Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you." (The Spirit that is in you is the Holy Spirit)
Luke 19:42 - saying, "If you, even you, had only recognized on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.
Suffering and adversity are parts if growth with Christians.
Rom. 8:17 - and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ--if, in fact, we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him.
1 Cor. 12:26 - If one member suffers, all suffer to6 In this you rejoice, even if now for a little while you have had to suffer various trials, gether with it; if one member is honored, all rejoice together with it.
1 Peter 1:6 - In this you rejoice, even if now for a little while you have had to suffer various trials,
Q: Who can teach me about the Bible?
A: The Advocate/Helper/Comforter that Jesus sends is a Teacher/Counselor. He also works through any one of Gods servants or sons. He could makes a donkey or even the stones speak. He will teach you if you just ask. (If you lack knowledge or wisdom just ask in Jesus' name.)
Q: What is the shortest chapter in the Bible?
A: Psalms 117
Q: What is the longest chapter in the Bible?
A: Psalms 119
Q: Who or what is the 666?
A: As explained in the instructors manual, "The Walk", 666 is the old man in each of us. He is made new spiritually, renewed mentally and renewed physically in each of us when we are born again. The spirit in each of us is of Satan until we are born again. We took on this spirit when we fell and were seperated from our heavenly Father, as did Lucifer.
The first "6" is the physical old man, you. This you is "renewed".
The second "6" is the mental old man, you. This you is "renewed".
The third "6" is the spiritual old man, you. This you is "made" new.
The old man in all men is of the devil, the new man is of Jesus.
